| Terry Sue Harms has been a practicing hairdresser since 1977 and currently owns her salon. In 1992 she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Mills College. In May of 2005, she was inspired, in response to the new reality TV craze, "to write a story where the losers were the winners." Pearls My Mother Wore was born of that inspiration. She lives in Northern California with her husband, Lutrell. | ||||
